Day 1 - 16.10.
Travel from Belgrade to JRO Kilimanjaro

After landing in Tanzania the team goes on a 1 hour drive to Arusha, where the team will spend the night and the next day.

Departure to the Mountain

Acclimatization

This day is used as a rest day and acclimatization to the different oxygen levels at high altitudes.

It is primarily done at the Zebra Rocks or at the base of the Mawenzi peak

Almost at the top!

The team leaves the last location that has water

They ascend through a valley between the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks to the Kibo Huts

Day 7 - 22.10.
The highest point of Africa!

The Team sets of from the Kibo Huts between midnight and one in the morning, arriving at Uhuru peak, the highest peak of Kilimanjaro around eight in the morning.

The team will then go back down to the Kibo Huts for lunch and then continue their descent to the Horombo Huts where they will stay overnight.

Day 8 - 23.10.
Final Descent

After breakfast, the team finishes their expedition to Kilimanjaro by descending from the Horombo Huts to the Marangu Gate

There, the team will receive certificates for their climb to the peak, after which they go back to Arusha.

Days 9 and 10 have the team going to 2 safaris: The Tarangire national park and the Lake Manyara national park
